One Family Christmas

Image
Author : Bella Osborne Publisher: Avon Books  I love Christmas themed books, they make me feel warm. And this book was a beautiful emotional rollercoaster, equally funny and lovely. I loved all characters, every single one of them. They felt so real, so heartwarming, and some felt so crazy. Just like human beings actually are. Everything in the book was well written and beautifully put together. As the story goes on, eventually new friendships and relationships starts, which were beautiful too. Sometimes I laughed madly, sometimes cried. Sometimes just felt cozy. Overall, it is a beautiful piece of work one can curl up with in a blanket ,this winter. One Family Christmas is about Lottie, and his messed up crazy family's traditional Christmas. After her Nana Rose's death,   Lottie is hosting one last big family Christmas at the home she grew up in – just like her Nana would have wanted. In this family, everybody has one secret, and this last Christmas, secrets are all coming out

Author : Kristin Bair Publisher : Alcove Press This book practically blew my mind. I was confused all the way through it that should I laugh or should I cry. When she discovers that her husband is cheating on her, it seems that her fears increases and tries to succumb her. Despite her fears, Agatha is a strong woman, and an aspiring author. The book starts from her discovering her husband's treachery and gradually develops with her coping with heartbreak and fears.  Agatha Arch is a beautiful , strong and unforgettable character. I loved the whole story. The other characters were amazing too. I loved the writing style and mentions of other books , because Agatha is a voracious reader like us. This book carries a beautiful message about mental health, and 10th October being Mental Health Day, it was a perfect October read. Rating :5/5 I'm extremel

Author : P.M.Freestone What is that smell ? Do I smell a good book ? Do I smell satisfaction and excitement? Yes, well that's the smell of this book.  I love fantasy. But, I'm a little weary of  historical/ romantic/ magical / mythological fantasy. That's why I'm out on search for books that don't follow the path of mainstream fantasy. My search started from ReneĆ© Ahdieh's "The Flame In The Mist". The Shadowscent duology is second book in my search.  This book is so, so much different from the usual fantasy books we read. It has magic, romance , and a whole new world . But the world building, characters , places defer from usual books. And most importantly, it's based on scents, one of my favourite things in the world;  rose, cedar , citrus , sandalwood and many more. I felt like I was smelling all the scents mentioned in the book while reading. And I loved the protagonists too, they're also different from usual characters. I can relate to Rake
